It all started with our father, Carl “Cisco” Johnson—a man whose talent on the smoker was unmatched and whose passion for cooking brought people together. As a young girl, I was always right by his side, soaking in every moment, every aroma, every secret he poured into the fire. To me, he wasn’t just a pitmaster—he was a legend.

Today, I carry on that legacy as Lady Pitmaster Dee. Every dish I serve, every rub I craft, every sauce I bottle is inspired by my father’s hands—but with a little spin of my own. This smokehouse is a tribute to the man who taught me the soul of BBQ and the power of family.
